Molly (Griffin) Smith is currently a Strategy Director at Barkley, a creative agency in Kansas City. Beyond a strategist, Molly is a builder of ideas, teams and culture. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication, she spent her first year in business development helping to land several key accounts for Barkley. She then followed her passion to the strategy team, where she uses creative insights to connect brands to consumers and culture in powerful ways.

Molly is a problem solver, a fueler of ideas and a master collaborator. Her magnetic presentation style wins over any client she sits with. She has been an integral part of teams leading to work that has earned Clio’s, One Show, American Advertising Federation Awards, Shorty’s and Webby’s. She personally earned Barkley’s 2017 Add Good award, given to the person who ”bleeds contribution, inspires everyone around them and makes you believe anything is possible.” Molly takes great pride in her work and wants to make a difference, not only in the industry, but in culture, by telling brand stories that move us all. Plus, she makes an amazing chocolate chip cookie.
